Joseph Perry Noonan III, “Perry”, a 34 year resident of Las Vegas, He was born in Worcester, Massachusetts. Perry a co-founded and operated Western Risk Insurance which specializes in commercial property insurance and risk management.
Perry was honorably discharged from the US Air Force Special Forces Unit and a well-respected member of the Las Vegas Community. Perry saw the Agency and Brokerage reach 30 years of service. He donated many hours to local organizations and associations such as the Optimist, Boys Home; Nevada Community Association Institute; Institute of Real Estate Managers and the Nevada State Apartment Association.
He had been extremely active with the Community Associations Institute and has served on their National Risk Management Council. From 1997 to 2000, he served on the Board of Directors/Treasurer of the local Community Associations Institute Chapter.
1996 to 2001, he served on the Board of Directors of the Nevada Apartment Association and served on the Silver State Apartment Association/Nevada Apartment Association Transition Board. Perry is one of the founders of the merged association, The Southern Nevada Multi Housing Association (SNMA). He continued his support by sitting on the SNMA Board of Directors 2002-2006.
He was also a member of CCIM and a Friend of IREM. He held associate memberships to CMG, CDMS, NAIOP, AGC, NCA and BOMA.
As a reflection of his strong support for continuing education, he encouraged and compensated his staff to participate in their personal growth. He was well respected as a consultant and professional broker in the Insurance Industry.
Perry was actively involved in several Civic and Community Organizations including Co-Founder and Director of the Clark County Optimist Boy’s Home. He had resided as President for the Northwest Optimist Club.
Perry Noonan’s dedication to his industry and community are still admired today.
